Its not a friggen joke, so stop treating it like one....

Some new "slaves" tend to treat this lifestyle like it is a joke. They jump from "Domme" to "Domme," they act like other people's "collar status" is nothing but a joke (another one who jokes about the lifestyle as well), and they act like they know everything.
Now, I don't act like I know everything, and i know there is still much I need to learn, there are things I don't enjoy and I don't know much about. I have been active in this lifestyle for over 16 years, having been given my first collar at a very young age. I am still learning and still evolving in my role within this lifestyle. I don't act like I know it all because I know I don't. I don't put others down when they make the same admission.
I don't act like a spoiled child trying to get every other sub/slave I know in trouble with their Dominant just because I think I can. I don't try to ruin the reputation of other slaves, reputations they have worked their whole lifestyle life to earn and cultivate. I realize that a Dominant's reputation is directly tied to the way His or Her sub/slave behaves, I will not possibly ruin that reputation by publicly calling out a sub/slave for some imagined slight or act while laughing at the reaction of the Dominant just because I need a laugh.
I don't think I am too good for Dominants. I don't jump from Dominant to Dominant just because I find some kind of fault with each and every Dominant I meet. I don't go from one to another, just abandoning my collar and my Dominant, just for the hell of it. I don't ruin a Dominant's reputation just because I want to, because I don't think I am getting enough attention, I understand that there are reasons a Dominant might not devote 24/7 attention to me. I don't throw a fit and cry and leave my collar on the ground, looking for another new Dominant because my current Dominant is taking care of some family business with His or Her children.
This lifestyle is not for everyone. It is not for the immature people who get a kick out of getting others in trouble. It is not for the bed hoppers who have a different "Domme," "Mistress," or "Master(f)" every week. It is not for those who see something and try to pretend to be that thing, and pretend they are better then someone who has been practicing that aspect of the lifestyle their entire lifestyle life. It is not for those who actually, literally laugh when a "collar" is placed around their throat or who will laugh when they get someone in trouble and ruin someone's reputation.
Don't come to me and ask me to teach you what you want to know just so you can pretend to be like me or so you can poke fun at what I am or so you can make a mockery out of this lifestyle.
