We all know there is no perfect Gorean society, and we know The Story of O was fake, and that 50 Shades was also fake and things will never happen exactly like in the books.
So, why do you expect things to happen exactly like they do in books with more believable characters, but are, nevertheless, also fiction?
It is not all rainbows and sunshine. Being a sub or slave is HARD at times. Pissing off a Top, especially your Top, just to see what happens, doesn't work out like in books, it just pisses them off, and creates real time consequences.
Not every D/s dynamic is "equal" and not every Dominant believes the sub holds all the power, because we don't.
Oh, and guess what, just because you heard a term in a book, doesn't mean it's real. Despite what you have forced and browbeaten your Reluctant Dominant into believing and enforcing, "free speak" time isn't as common as you claim (if I haven't heard of it in my 18+ year involvement, it's not common, sorry), power bottoms do not exist, and there IS a big difference between a Daddy/girl play dynamic, and are players, oh, and just because he slips on a pair of leather pants, doesn't make him a Dom, especially when you keep 2 fingers in his nostrils to lead him around.
