Vape Service - Part One - Care and Maintenance of vape

Vape Service is a variation of Cigar Service protocols.

Knowledge

The first part of learning Vape Service is learning all you can about the chosen vape rig. What mod is being used? Tank? Coil strength, resistance, wattage range, ohm? Power source? What kind of juices/oil are used? Is there nicotine? What is the strength? Flavor types?

Mods:

The type of mod used will effect the strength of the hit and the power of the vape. The mod and tank must not overpower each other. If the mod chosen is too powerful, the tank will burn up, the juice will burn wrong and your experience will end up tasting like an acrid burnt oil. Master and I both use the Sigelli Fuchai mod, which runs up to 140 watts. The watt setting used will depend on the tank and coil combination.

Tanks:

The tank is the source of the cloud. This is where the juice burns and the vapor is created. The size of the tank really only depends on personal preference. It will effect how much spare juice you carry with you as well as, possibly, how often you change flavors. This is also where the coil is decided. When choosing your tank be sure to check the coil it uses and how often they need to be changed.

We both use a Smok TFV4 tank.

The coil strength will be what creates your cloud.

Coils:

Your coil is as important as your mod. The coil is where the heat of the burn is created. There are rebuildable and disposable ones. The rebuildable ones are for more advanced vape users and some prefer to wind their own coils. I can't speak too much about this because I do not know too much since we do not use RBA's.

We use the disposable coils that can be replaced every week to 4 weeks. You must be sure you are using your coils at the matching wattage or temperature range. Master uses a quad coil that burns at between 70 and 120 watts and .11-.23 ohms. This creates a very dense cloud on both inhale and exhale.

Power Source

You need to know what the power source for your mod is. Does it have a power cord you have to screw onto the battery to charge it? Does it have a charge-through option where you can plug it in and still use it at the same time? Or does it take rechargeable batteries?

We prefer the mods that have rechargeable batteries. They are the same power and size of AA batteries.

Juices

This is where it gets fun and personalized. The flavors, the nicotine, the ratios. Our juices are roughly 80/20 VG/PG. The VG is more natural and stands for vegetable glycerine. That makes a smoother hit and a more dense cloud.

I make all our juices. The flavor profile is endless and there are plenty of how-to sites with ratios and recipes. The juice is also where your nicotine is.

Care

Part of caring for the vape is making sure everything is clean and juices are made or ordered. This really doesn't need an explanation.Take a Qtip and clean out any nook and cranny that might get debris in it.

Maintenance

Part of maintaining is making sure things are in running order. Keeping a supply of coils handy, making sure the mods are charged and fresh batteries are available as needed.

Making sure to make juices before they are completely gone.

Always keep freshly charged batteries available.

As the submissive in a Vape Service protocol, all this is my responsibility.

I will post more about this in the future.
