Coming Down

The question recently asked was, how do you come down after an intense scene?
In the immediate aftermath of a scene, I enjoy cuddling with Master as He soothes and calms my quaking and spent body.Soft words and gentle touches help to bring me back down to Earth.
Also, a rest period after helps, especially if I can snuggle into Master's embrace to rest. This is also a time of quiet reflection about what happened during the scene. Just feeling Master against my body helps keep me grounded.
A few hours after a scene, I have recently started to stand at the doorway of the playroom, where I feel the embrace, the support, and the guidance of Master's ancestors who have come before me, who have set the stage and precedents of the family and legacy.
Every slave deals with coming down from an intense scene differently, and, in some ways, to each scene differently.
There is no right way or wrong way to come down from an intense scene. It is a very personal thing, a bonding between Master and slave, a time of reflection, and a very personal time for both Master and slave.
