Master has a date tonight. This is His first date with a new girl. I have gotten to know her over the last week or so and she seems like a nice girl, a good possible fit. I'm not trying to move her in or anything, but I do think she may be a good fit for Master, at least from what I have seen, but we will have to see what happens as He gets to know her. I have promised Him I will not steal this girl from Him as I did my girlfriend, lol, she will stay strictly a lifestyle sister and nothing more.
When Master first had a phone date with my current girlfriend, I will admit, that first date I was extremely jealous for some reason, something that had never happened to me before with Master while He spoke to other girls. I think, now, I have figured it out. I think I was jealous of His date with her because I knew, deep down, somewhere, that there would be no true romantic feelings between Master and her but that there would be between she and I. Somehow, I knew this, and that jealousy was, in a way, my defense mechanism. I knew there could be the chance that, once He realized there was no romantic feeling between the two of them, that He would greatly encourage us to not date each other because of the dynamic between He and I.
While Master is out on His date, I can't help but not feel the jealousy. I don't feel a romantic connection with this new girl, I feel simply a sisterly affection that can only develop into a sisterly emotion and not a romantic one. I don't feel the connection to the new girl, S, the way I do with my girlfriend, K.
There is a different emotion in play there. When Master had K under His collar, I was extremely jealous because of the feelings I was developing towards her. Now, with S, I do not feel those ugly feelings, in fact, I am offering to go collar shopping with Master next time He is home or giving Him one of our collars we have now to keep in the truck for when He sees her.
I am glad Master has found a new girl that is possibly a good fit, I feel as nervous during their first date as I would for our son's eventual first date. I can't wait to hear from one or both of them to see how it went.
I have finally found out what is wrong with me, medically. I went back to the doctor again because this cough is getting worse but better. It has changed from a very heavy, almost constant, wet cough, to a less frequent, dry, wheezy cough. The cough and the fact that I couldn't catch my breath (I would pant for 15 minutes from walking from my car to my front door, 15 steps) were the reasons I went in to see the doctor, even though the doctor thought i was going in for a blood pressure check since he upped the dose of my blood pressure meds. I refused to leave the office until they figured out what was going on with my lungs. They took some blood work to check my white blood cell count, which had gone down from my visit earlier this month, so that was a good thing, and a chest x-ray, to see what was going on there. The x-ray didn't show any pneumonia, but did show a massive double bronchial infection. The doctor gave me a shot of antibiotic in the office and a shot of steroid while in the office plus a prescription for 10 full days of the stronger antibiotic and an inhaler to help with the shortness of breath. He also wants to check when I go in for a followup to see if my childhood asthma has returned. He also told me to get as much rest as possible, yeah right, I am so behind on my household chores that I can't afford to rest too much more. I am not overdoing myself, but I am not going to just stay in bed all day, I will, however, go to bed about an hour before bedtime in order to get a little extra rest. The doc would like to see me again in 15 days to see if the antibiotic knocked out the infection. I think I got his attention that something had to be done about the cough and shortness of breath. Oh, he also gave me a cough syrup with codeine in it to help control the cough at night so I can sleep. The only complaint I have so far about the antibiotic is that it causes massive heartburn and I can't take Tums or any kind of antacid for 2 hours before or after taking it. But at least I am starting to feel better now.
